Banh Mi Boys

Overview

Description

"Banh Mi is the Vietnamese word for bread. In Vietnamese cuisine, banh mi also refers to a type of baguette that serves as a bun for sandwiches filled with savory and fresh flavors. The banh mi was introduced to Vietnam in the mid-19th century, becoming a staple street food in Saigon as early as 1950. As opposed to the traditional banh mi —which commonly dons an assortment of cold cuts, pate, butter, and fresh vegetables— we offer a modern spin, showcasing braised, grilled, and fried meat (and vegetarian!) options with a combination of savoury sauces and fresh cucumber, pickled carrots, and cilantro."
