Fundy Coast to Fundy Shore Tour

Our tour begins with a visit to the seaside community of St. Martins. You'll step back in time and sense the serenity of this area with its wharf, fishing boats, and piled lobster traps. With the ocean as a backdrop, you'll capture memorable photos of many interesting features such as lighthouses and the twin covered bridges. Don't forget to visit the wave-carved sea caves in the sandstone cliff if the tide is low enough to allow access while you're there. Learn about this small community's wooden ship building industry and see some of the highest tides in the world ebb and flow during your visit. You'll also visit the famous Reversing Falls, where the huge tides from the Bay of Fundy force the mighty Saint John River. Before returning to the cruise ship, we'll stop and explore the unique Old City Market in the heart of Saint John and learn why the local folks have loved to buy fresh produce here since 1876. Please note: all tours depart at local time and depend on cruise ship arrival.

River Relics Kayaking Adventure

Enjoy a guided kayaking adventure along the shores of the historic Saint John River from Dominion Park Beach in Saint John NB. Located just a short 15 minute drive from the center of the city! History abounds as you paddle in your tandem kayak along an ice aged river where 15,000 years ago receding glaciers forced the river to find a new route over the rock ridges at Reversing Falls Rapids. The massive river system has been the lifeblood of the region for hundreds of years. Photo opportunities abound as you pause to learn about river lighthouses, pre-Cambrian fossils, and check out industrial ruins that tell a story of bygone times, when the river was the key to life in New Brunswick. Keep your head on a swivel and an eye on the horizon for local wildlife, including bald eagles, blue heron, jumping Sturgeon, and if we're lucky, even the occasional rare sighting of harbour seal, hawk, and peregrine falcon.
