What To Expect Arrive at Berlin’s Historic Centre, where you’ll meet your knowledgeable guide. Begin your walking and eating exploration by heading to Berlin’s street art filled alleyways, Historic Jewish Quarter local bars getting to know the city's turbulent history from 1865 and 1989. If you start to feel hungry for more than just information, not to worry: a stop at one of Berlin’s best kebab shops is just around the corner. Continue your foot-powered food adventure as you explore some of East Berlin’s trendiest art galleries, Soviet-era boulevards and colourful street art before taking a break for ‘Flammkuchen,’ a flatbread style German tart at a local restaurant. You’ll also stop by another boutique bakery, where you can sample a variety of cakes and pastries. Still have room for more tasty snacks? Enjoy some Currywurst, with a homemade cold war special sauce, one of Berlin’s most iconic sausage meals. You’ll finish your trip at a local brewery to taste a fresh German beer.

Go to the Reichstag parliament building where a fateful fire in 1933 helped Hitler and the Nazi's dismantle democracy in Germany in 1933. Learn about the Berliners during this period, how they reacted to the bombing raids and living life under a dictatorship. See Hermann Goerings former airforce ministry, Goebbels' former propaganda HQ and various other sites that had great importance to the NSDAP.

At the Berlin Icebar everything is made of ice, from the walls and furniture to the very glass you sip your beverage out of is made of natural ice. Upon arrival to the Berlin Icebar you’ll receive tokens. You can exchange these tokens at our two bars. The first bar you’ll enter is our ‘heated’ front bar. Here you can exchange your golden token and order a large Heineken beer, glass of wine, cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage. After a welcome drink in the lounge, snuggle into the provided warm clothing like a coat and gloves to surmount the -10°C. After this preparation, you will enter the actual ice bar in the back. You’ll be handed in the actual Icebar where you can exchange your two silver tokens for Heineken beer, shots of strong liquor or orange juice. Enjoy the ambient light and ice sculptures of the Icebar and test yourself how long you can last in the cold.
