Tsayta Aviation

Overview

Description

"Tsayta is a long established British Columbia air carrier serving the tourism and resource sectors in northern British Columbia. Formed in 1983 at a base in Fort St. James, B.C., the company now operates six piston and turbine engine aircraft from operational bases at Fort St. James, Smithers, Dease Lake, and Telegraph Creek. We regularly operate aircraft as well from MacKenzie and Prince George airports. Our destinations are anywhere in northern BC and the Yukon where an airplane can safely land and take off again. On land, on water, and on snow and ice. We move people and cargo. We support customers from major resource developments to government agencies to single passengers with a need to go somewhere quickly, or to see something from above. Our core competence is to operate utility aircraft safely and efficiently in the vast and mostly unpopulated areas of the north of the province. We offer a range of aircraft with varying passenger and load capacities, ranging from the five passenger piston engined Cessna 206, through the ageless DeHavilland Beaver and Brittain Norman Islander twin, and up to the revamped Texas Turbine De Havilland Otter. Along with our airplanes are some highly experienced pilots. Our present compliment of six pilots have over 50,000 hours of combined flight experience. Our services and our aircraft fleet are detailed in other pages of this site. We would be happy to be of service to anyone and any business that needs an airplane to get a job done in northern BC."
