Overview

Description

"Founded in 1970, the Island Queen Cruise has introduced over 2 million people to the rugged and isolated beauty of Georgian Bay's 30,000 Islands, the largest freshwater archipelago in the world. Now in the third generation of family ownership, we love what we do and are inspired everyday by the joy and amazement we see on our passengers faces as we explore the narrow channels and shallow waterways of the 30,000 Islands. We offer two and three-hour sightseeing cruises through some of the most remote regions of Georgian Bay's 30,000 Islands, now an UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Our spacious 550-passenger ship has three decks, comfortable inside and outside seating, large viewing windows, outside observation decks, wheelchair accessible washrooms, a snack bar, a full commentary and heat for our fall colour cruises. We have two gift shops at dockside, lots of free parking and plenty of smiles. We operate from June 1 to mid-October each year." (from the business)
