Overview

Description

"At Self Propelled, our adventures are created with the purpose of reconnecting people to nature in an organic self sustainable way. We are a small local company that is committed to promoting and preserving sustainable outdoor activities. In today's society it is very easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of life and loose your sense of connection to the natural world. Thats why we encourage adventures which require our own energy to propel us to the destinations we seek.  By using our own feet we can slow down and see many things that we would otherwise fail to notice. Our primary goal is to discover all we can about our natural surroundings and the history that goes with it. At Self Propelled Adventures you will speak directly with a guide from start to finish. This allows us to create custom adventures that are unique to you and your group. We run our adventure itineraries ourselves which allows us to ensure the beauty and exceptional nature of each trip. We want to feel like your not just taking a hiking trip with us, you are making memories that will be treasured for a lifetime. As professional interpreters we can give you a next-level experience, with exclusive insight into the natural history, geology and wildlife of the Canadian Rockies. We uncover the stories behind the jaw dropping landscapes and leave you feeling a sense of connection to these special places."
